Thanks so much for stopping by our small corner of cyberspace! We feel so honored to have you be a part of these moments of our lives.

We are Jarrod and Amanda.

Jarrod is a kid-at-heart, a hunter of deer, fish and pretty much anything that breathes, drummer, avid 'BBQ-er' and passionate man of God. He is a graduate of Trinity International University with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies who lives out his passions on a daily basis as the Student Ministries Pastor at our home church.

Amanda is a planner, dreamer, lover of all things autumn or pumpkin related, musician, thrifter, designer and loyal Christ-follower. I'm is a graduate of Bethel University with a Bachelors in Interpersonal Communication Studies and a graduate of Liberty University with a Masters in Human Services and Leadership. I work in philanthropy and also run my own blog, web and branding design business, Manda Julaine Designs.

We were married on February 26, 2011 after dating for 7 years through high school and long-distance in college.

We love to cook together - BBQ, bake, sauté, roast, etc. You name it, we do it.

Oh, and we LOVE coffee. I calculated that last year alone we consumed at least 1,300 cups of coffee between the two of us.

We also love dachshunds. We have two of them - Augie & Harley. They're kind of like our kids and people lovingly call me the 'crazy dachshund lady.'

We just adopted our first child, Madison, in July of 2014. That's what the majority of the blog is about.

But more than anything, we are twenty-somethings actively seeking the Lord's will in our life on a daily basis.

No. Seriously.

God has led us down some crazy paths since we joined our lives as one almost three years ago. We never expected to find ourselves in half the circumstances that we have wound up in and yet they're always the most beautiful places to be.

God has been and continues to be so good to us in all circumstances and he has blessed us by leading us, most recently, through our adoption process. This blog is all about our adoption - what we've been through, what God has taught us, and all about the beautiful blessing found in this child and in this process
